Welcome to StudyFlow — your smart study companion. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Android application.

StudyFlow is a student productivity app that helps you focus with Pomodoro timers, manage notes, track your CGPA, set daily goals, and count down to exams. We are committed to full transparency about our data practices.

StudyFlow does not collect any of the following:

• Name, email address, or phone number
• Location or GPS data
• Camera or microphone access
• Contacts or calendar events
• Financial or payment information
• Health or biometric data
• Browsing history or search queries
• Any data sent to our servers

All content you create in StudyFlow is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. This includes:

• Notes — titles, content, subjects, colors
• CGPA Records — courses, grades, credit hours, semesters
• Goals — daily tasks and progress
• Exams — subject names, dates, venues
• Study Sessions — Pomodoro history and durations
• Preferences — timer settings and app configuration

This data is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete all data permanently at any time by uninstalling the app.

StudyFlow requests only the minimum permissions required for its features to work:

StudyFlow uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. This helps us keep the app free for all students.

AdMob may collect and use the following for ad purposes:

• Advertising ID — used exclusively to serve and personalize ads
• App interactions — how you use the app to improve ad relevance
• Device information — device type and OS version for ad compatibility

Google AdMob operates under Google's Privacy Policy . We have no control over or access to the data AdMob collects.

How to opt out of personalized ads:

1. Open your device Settings
2. Tap Google
3. Tap Ads
4. Enable Opt out of Ads Personalization

If you opt out, you will still see ads in the app but they will not be personalized to your interests.

StudyFlow supports Android's built-in backup system. If you have Google backup enabled on your device, your app data such as notes, goals, and CGPA records may be backed up to your personal Google account.

This backup is managed entirely by Google and governed by your Google account settings. We have no access to this backed up data. You can disable backup at any time in your device settings.

StudyFlow uses only one third-party service:

• Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements (see Section 5)

We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, Crashlytics, or any other tracking or analytics services. There are no hidden SDKs collecting your data.

StudyFlow is designed for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Since StudyFlow collects no personal data whatsoever, it is inherently safe for student users of all ages. Our app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar international regulations.

Advertisements served by AdMob are configured with age-appropriate content ratings and are not targeted at children under 13.

All data stored by StudyFlow on your device is protected by Android's built-in security model including:

• App sandboxing — other apps cannot access StudyFlow data
• Device encryption — data is encrypted when device is locked
• No network transmission — data never leaves your device

Since we collect no personal data and operate no servers, there is no risk of a server-side data breach affecting your information.

You have full control over your data:

• Access — all your data is visible directly in the app
• Delete — delete individual notes, goals, or courses inside the app, or uninstall to delete everything
• Portability — your data is stored locally and belongs entirely to you
• Opt out of ads — disable personalized ads in your device settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app features or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of StudyFlow after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
