This Privacy Policy describes how Resumify ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with your use of our mobile application Resumify – Resume Builder & CV Maker (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

1. Information We Collect

We do not directly collect or store any personal information from our users. The App operates locally on your device — your resume data, work experience, education history, and other content you enter remains stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

However, our App uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob automatically collects the following information to deliver and optimize ads:

• Device information (device model, operating system, app version)
• Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
• Approximate location (derived from IP address — city/region level only)
• IP address
• App usage and ad interaction data

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected through AdMob is used for the following purposes:

• To deliver and facilitate the delivery of our App services
• To deliver targeted advertising content to users
• To determine the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
• To identify usage trends and improve the App experience

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We disclose (but do not sell) certain information to the following third-party service provider:

4. Cookies, Beacons & Tracking Technologies

Our App uses the following tracking technologies through Google AdMob:

• Targeting / marketing cookies — to serve relevant ads based on user interests
• Beacons / pixels / tags — to measure ad impressions and performance
• Click redirects — to direct users to an advertiser's page when an ad is clicked

You can reset your Google Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time through your Android device settings: Settings > Privacy > Ads.

5. Data Retention

We do not directly store any personal data. Data collected by Google AdMob (such as Advertising ID, device information, and approximate location) is retained by Google in accordance with their data retention policies. Approximate location derived from IP address is typically retained for up to 9 months, and ad interaction data for up to 26 months. For more information, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

Data collection ceases when you uninstall the App from your device. You may also reset your Advertising ID at any time through Android device settings.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information. Your resume data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. Google AdMob applies enterprise-level security measures to any data it collects on our behalf.

In the event of a security incident involving unauthorized access to personal information, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities within the timeframes required by applicable law (e.g., within 72 hours under GDPR).

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. International Data Transfers

Google AdMob is a US-based service. By using our App, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom (UK). These transfers are governed by:
